What is the Loop Archive?
The Loop Archive is the second tab inside Studio – Collaborate. It contains loops from opportunities that have been completed, closed, or archived. Instead of losing access to those loops, they are preserved in the archive so producers can revisit past material.
How loops get archived
When a Beat Pack is completed and the opportunity closes, the loops that were uploaded to that opportunity's collaboration pool automatically move into the Loop Archive. You do not need to do anything manually.
Grouped by artist
Archived loops are grouped by artist and Beat Pack number. If an artist has had multiple Beat Packs, you'll see each pack listed separately under the artist's header with the number of archived loops shown.
Why the archive matters
When BeatPlugg opens a new Beat Pack for the same artist, having access to past loops helps you understand what other producers have already contributed and gives you building blocks for your next submission. You can also access the Loop Archive directly from a Live Loops opportunity card if archived loops exist for that artist.
You can remove your own loops from the archive using the delete option inside the My Uploads tab. Removing a loop from the archive does not affect any beats that were already submitted using that loop.
