What is a Beat Pack series?
A Beat Pack series is a sequence of Beat Packs sent to the same artist over time. Instead of a single one-off opportunity, BeatPlugg may open multiple rounds of submissions for the same artist as their needs evolve or as they request more production.
How it works
- The first opportunity for an artist is labelled Beat Pack #1.
- If BeatPlugg opens a new round for the same artist, it becomes Beat Pack #2, and so on.
- Each Beat Pack has its own submission slots, deadline, and brief.
- You submit and pay credits to each Beat Pack independently.
Beat Pack badges
Each opportunity card displays a Beat Pack badge showing the pack number, for example Beat Pack #2. This helps you identify which round of submissions you are looking at, both on the Opportunities page and inside Collaborate.
Grouped on your submissions page
On your My Submissions page, all Beat Packs for the same artist are grouped under a single collapsible artist header. You can expand the header to see each Beat Pack separately with its own submission details and statuses.
Beat carryovers
When a Beat Pack is completed, the BeatPlugg team may carry strong beats forward into any future Beat Pack for that same artist. If your beat is reconsidered, it appears inside your submissions alongside the new Beat Pack it has been carried into. Carryovers do not use additional credits and are marked so you can tell them apart from fresh submissions.
Loop Archive and Beat Pack series
Loops uploaded during earlier Beat Packs are preserved in the Loop Archive under Studio – Collaborate. When a new Beat Pack opens for the same artist, you can access archived loops from previous rounds to help with your next submission.
Not every artist will have multiple Beat Packs. Beat Pack series are opened when the artist or their team requests more production or when BeatPlugg identifies continued demand.
