What is a placement opportunity?
A placement opportunityon BeatPlugg is a real beat request sourced from a verified artist, A&R, manager, or label. Each opportunity includes:
- Artist info - Name, profile photo, monthly listeners, country, and verification status where shown.
- Brief / Description - What the artist is looking for, including mood, style, and references.
- Technical specs - Preferred BPM, key, genre/vibe tags, and any reference tracks provided.
- Recipient - Who your beats will be sent to, such as the artist, management, A&R, or record label.
- Deadline - A closing date after which no more submissions are accepted.
- Submission slots - A capped number of total submissions allowed.
Opportunity lifecycle
- Open - Producers can browse and submit beats.
- Reviewing Submissions - The deadline has passed or slots are full. The BeatPlugg team is listening to, rating, and shortlisting submissions.
- Closed - Submissions are no longer accepted. Selected beats may be delivered to the listed recipient in a curated beat pack.
Verified placement opportunities
Every placement opportunity on BeatPlugg is sourced and vetted by our team before it goes live. Some artist cards may still show a blue verification badge, but opportunities are treated as verified by default because they come through BeatPlugg's curation process. The goal is simple: your beats are going to a real camp, not a random or fake account.
Once an opportunity reaches its slot limit or deadline, submissions close automatically and the listing moves into review. Submit early so you don't miss the available slots.
