How submissions work

Submitting beats

When you find a placement opportunity you want to pitch to, click Submit Beats. You'll be able to upload one or more MP3 files, up to the beat limit shown on that opportunity. Standard opportunities cost 1 credit per submission. PRO opportunities cost 2 credits per submission and require a Pro or Elite plan.

Adding collaborators

During the submission flow, each uploaded beat has an optional Collaborators section. You can search for other BeatPlugg producers by name or username and link them to a specific beat. Collaborators are shown as chips on the beat and receive relevant notifications when the beat moves through the pipeline. Adding collaborators is optional and does not change the credit cost of your submission.

The submission pipeline

Every submission moves through a pipeline that you can track from your Submissions page:

1. Submitted — Your beat has been uploaded and received.
2. BeatPlugg Review — Our team listens to and rates every submission.
3. Sent in Pack — If selected, your beat is included in the curated beat pack delivered to the listed recipient.
4. Recipient Engagement — Track listens, downloads, and activity from the recipient's side once the pack is shared.

Submission statuses

• Pending — Your submission is waiting to be reviewed, or the opportunity may still be open.
• Under Review — The opportunity has closed and the BeatPlugg team is reviewing submissions.
• Sent in Pack — Your beat was selected and delivered to the listed recipient.
• Not Selected — Your beat was not included in this pack. This is not a reflection of quality; competition is fierce and pack sizes are limited.

My Submissions page

Your My Submissions page groups all your submissions by artist and Beat Pack. If you have submitted to multiple Beat Packs for the same artist, they appear together under one collapsible artist header. You can filter between All Submissions, Pending, and Sent in Pack using the tabs at the top.
