Tracking listens and downloads

How to monitor engagement after your beat is delivered

Written by BeatPlugg Team·Updated May 18, 2026

Engagement tracking

When your beat is selected and sent in a pack, BeatPlugg tracks what happens next through the shared beat pack link. From your Submissions page, you can see:

  • BeatPlugg team listens - How many times the BeatPlugg team has played your beat during internal review.
  • Internal rating - The BeatPlugg curation rating shown after review.
  • Recipient listens - How many times the recipient has played your beat through the shared pack link.
  • Downloads - Whether the recipient downloaded your beat from the pack.
  • Engagement level - A simple summary of recipient activity after delivery.

Why transparency matters

When producers send beats through email, Instagram DMs, or cold outreach, it's often hard to know what happened after the file was sent. You may not know if the beat was opened, listened to, downloaded, or passed to the right person. BeatPlugg gives you more visibility, so you can see when your music was reviewed, selected, listened to, or downloaded.

INFO

Recipient tracking only appears for beats that were selected and sent in a pack. It reflects activity on the shared pack link, not general activity inside the BeatPlugg platform.
